American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities
The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc (AAAASF) has accredited ambulatory
surgery facilities since 1980. Their primary goal is to promote the highest quality patient safety in the ambulatory
(office based or outpatient) surgery setting. Accreditation represents a high level of attention to the details that
make a surgery facility safer.
Grand Strand Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Center, PA has voluntarily
participated in the AAAASF program since 1996. We meet AAAASF's strict requirements for facility director,
medical specialist certification, staff credentials, and passed a thorough inspection by a qualified AAAASF Facility Inspector. AAAASF
Facility Inspectors are board certified medical specialists trained to perform a detailed and complete facility inspection.

& Procedures), General Safety in the Facility, Blood and Medicines, Medical Records, Quality Assessment/Quality Improvement,
