Financing and Insurance
Grand Strand Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Center, P.A. is not a participating provider with any private
insurance companies. If you have private health insurance and choose to have Dr. Goh consult or perform a medical procedure
anyway, the fee for your consultation is due at checkout after your visit. You must pay in total for your surgery at
the time of your preoperative physical exam, usually a week or two before surgery. We can file a claim for you with your
insurance, so that you can be reimbursed the amount your insurance allows for the procedure, but please be aware that
since we are not a network provider you will be penalized in reimbursement for choosing an out-of-network physician.
This penalty can be a substantial amount.
Cosmetic
procedures are not covered by any insurance providers. A fee of $1000 (which is deducted from the total cost of your
surgery) must be paid on the day you schedule a cosmetic procedure to reserve the date you choose for surgery. The
balance of the cost must be paid two weeks prior to the surgery at your appointment for your history and physical exam.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards, cash and personal checks.
