Grand Strand Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery offers luxury skin care products from Kinerase® and Vivité®, along with LATISSE®, the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment to improve growth and appearance of eyelashes. These products are used by members of our staff, who are happy to discuss the products, answer your questions, and recommend specific products based on your needs.

The Kinerase® line of products has been scientifically shown to improve the appearance of skin aging. Kinerase® Pro+Therapy is available exclusively through physicians. It uses Kinetin--a plant based technology and antioxidant that helps visibly improve the appearance of aging and sun-damaged skin. Kinerase® Pro+Therapy combines Kinetin with Zeatin, another plant based antioxidant that has been shown to improve the appearance of the more severe signs of aging and sun damage, such as fine lines, wrinkles, skin roughness and hyperpigmentation.

Vivité® is an advanced skin care regimen based on GLX Technology™, combining a glycolic compound with natural antioxidants to deeply penetrate skin to help maximize results. This fusion helps promote the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen, and epidermal growth factor, all of which are essential to the integrity and health of skin. The antioxidants in GLX Technology™ help protect epidermal cells from the harmful effects of environmental stress factors known as free radicals, which can attack and prematurely age skin.

Elure™ Advanced Lightening Lotion and Advanced Lightening Night Cream is now available at our office. This product was just named "Best of Beauty 2011: The Big Breakthroughs by allure Magazine. This product contains an enzyme called Melanozyme that breaks down melanin allowing it to be removed by normal exfoliation. Clinical trials showed a visible improvement in dark spots as well as improvements in evenness and smoothness after one month.

LATISSE® solution is also available at our office, with Dr. Goh's approval. LATISSE® is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis or sparse eyelashes. Although the precise way it works is unknown, LATISSE® is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase, and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase.
